The 23rd World Food Exhibition took place in Moscow

World Food Exhibition took place in Moscow on 15-18 of September. For the first time the The 23rd Russian – Azorean Trading Company introduced the food products from the Azores under the joint brand “ECO Azorean product” to the Russian market.

This year over 1600 companies from 73 countries took part in the exhibition, 42 countries had their national booths, and about 28000 people visited the exhibition within 4 days.

Showcases of the Russian-Azorean Trading Company drew live attention of buyers of supermarket chains and retail shops, food boutiques, HoReCa representatives.

Carbonated juice containing drink Kima with passion fruit and pineapple flavors received an award as a participant of the “New Product Showcase 2014”.

The following manufacturers were introduced at the exhibition:

3. Celeiro da Terra (Povoacao) – jams, cookies, liquors

4. Gorreana – tea

5. O Chocolatinho – chocolate candies with traditional Azorian flavors

6. IDEAL – meat, prepared foods, sausages

7. Lactaçores – cheeses (Sao Miguel and Sao Jorge factories)

8. Melo Abreu – Kima (carbonated non-alcohol juice containing drink) and beer

9. Santa Catarina – canned tuna

10. Salsiçor - meat, prepared foods, sausages (Finançor Group of Companies

11. Moaçor – cookies and pasta (Finançor Group of Companies)

12. Dulçores – Especie cookies from Sao Jorge island

13. Lurdes Narciso – fresh and frozen fish and seafood

14. Quinta dos Acores – cheeses, frozen meat, milk and yoghurts

15. Antonio Mineiro – fresh and frozen fish and seafood
